Unfortunately, we all know that with the joys of winter are the shovels, the delays and bugs that go around the flu each year. As a dermatologist, there is another "Winter Care" that often from my patients who go to listen to part of the year spent in the north. They want to know how to prevent dry skin, the problem is that many of us are victims every year.
Why is it in winter

Humidity: How to keep every drop
I remember that I said the drought caused by lack of water? Well, if you want to avoid dry skin, you need to find the best way to keep as much water as possible.First of all, get used to apply a body lotion after every shower. What to do to rescue winter
If you build a snowman in the afternoon to spend with the children, and are itchy, chapped, wind burned skin, there is something you can do. Use a very gentle cleanser for the face andthe body, such as Dove or Neutrogena bath bars. The strips lye normal humidity. On the face and lips, try an ointment like Vaseline or Aquaphor. Extremely dry, red patches on the skin, the use of over-the-counter cortisone for several days. If you have a severe dermatitis, you should see your doctor for a prescription.
To soothe itchy skin all over his body, is an oatmeal bath naturally an excellent treatment. Sprinkle 2 cups of colloidal oatmeal (Aveeno isone brand is available at drugstores) in a tub of warm water. After soaking, lightly pat your skin with a towel, until just moist.
